Ask Us A QuestionWhat's the difference between whole-home filtration and reverse osmosis?
Whole-home filtration treats all the water entering your house, improving showers, laundry, and appliances. Reverse osmosis is a point-of-use system, usually under the kitchen sink, that produces highly purified drinking water. Many homes benefit from both.
Do I really need a water softener in Greenville or Spartanburg?
It depends on your water source. Some Upstate city water is moderately soft, but many wells and outlying systems are hard enough to cause scale and spotting. Our free water test tells you your exact hardness so you can decide with real numbers.
Can you treat both well water and city water?
Yes. We design systems for private wells (iron, sulfur, low pH, bacteria) and for municipal water (chlorine, chloramine, hardness, PFAS). The treatment approach is different, which is why we always test first.
What does carbon filtration actually remove?
Activated carbon removes chlorine, chloramine (with catalytic carbon), VOCs, pesticides, and the tastes and odors that make water unpleasant. It does not remove hardness or dissolved minerals; that requires a softener or RO.
